22 minutes of stunning new Battlefield 1 multiplayer gameplay hits the web

With the October release of EA’s Battlefield 1 quickly coming upon us, more and more footage from the highly anticipated WW1 shooter is leaking into the public domain with this latest video showing off multiplayer gameplay from a pre-alpha version of the game.

The footage, which was upscaled into 4K resolution and then uploaded by prolific Battlefield YouTuber Jackfrags, showcases a wide variety of Battlefield 1 gameplay ranging from frantic on-foot firefights to airplane duels, tank combat and even the level of destruction available in the game; the neighbourhood destroying crash of a felled zeppelin being a particular highlight.

In short, Battlefield 1 is looking like the real deal with the shift to a past conflict rather than a future one proving to be a point of invigoration for the long-running series. If you missed it, you can check out our recent hands-on with Battlefield 1 by our PSU’s very own Mike Harradence.

Powered by the latest iteration of the Frostbite Engine, Battlefield 1 is currently set to release for PS4 on October 21.
