Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PS4 and Xbox One, will feature co-op—rumor

Rockstar is currently developing a sequel to Red Dead Redemption for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to a report on NeoGAF.

Not only that, but co-op will be featured for the first time in the series, and will be a prominent focus in the sequel.

That’s about all there is to go on right now, although it’s worth noting the user who reported the story was approved by a moderator, so it must be somewhat trustworthy. Nonetheless, treat it with a pinch of salt until we hear something official.

Rumors of Red Dead Redemption 2 have been circulating for some time now, with Take-Two even hinting at the project earlier this year. An official announcement continues to remain elusive, however.

The original Red Dead Redemption was released in May 2010 and has gone on to sell over 13 million copies worldwide.
