Chart-Track has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as notched up the U.K.’s biggest video game launch of 2015 so far.
The critically acclaimed fantasy-RPG was released worldwide on May 19, and sold through 63 percent of all copies on the PlayStation 4, with Xbox One taking up 32 percent. PC took the rest, although most of its sales were digital-based and therefore not tracked.
In addition, Wild Hunt outperformed week one sales of its predecessor, The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, by an eyeball-popping 608 percent.
Elsewhere on the U.K. All Format Chart, Farming Simulator 15 ploughs the fields in second place thanks to the release of the last and current-generation versions of the game, while Grand Theft Auto V continues to stick around in the Top 5 at number three.
