Bungie has confirmed that King’s Fall, the new raid due to appear in Destiny‘s forthcoming The Taken King expansion, will not be available at launch.
“We definitely have a plan for when it’s going to be available," said the game’s director, Luke Smith, during a chat with IGN. “I’m not going to announce the plan for it on the YouTube gaming stage…But I promise for people who are excited about the raid will know when it’s time to take time off work. We’ll give em’ a heads up."
Destiny: The Taken King is due out on September 15 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. The game will introduce a variety of changes, including replacing Peter Dinklage as the voice of Ghost, removing the Weekly Heroic Strike and introducing new Guardian subclasses.
In addition, Destiny’s level cap will be raised to 40, and Strange Coin drops will also receive something of an overhaul. Check out some of the new exotic gear here.
