Spent today reviewing creative progress on #MassEffectAndromeda. I believe it to be the best (and certainly largest) Mass Effect ever! #Hype

Mass Effect: Andromeda is due out in holiday 2016. The game was formally announced during Electronic Arts’ 2015 E3 press conference, and will not be a prequel.
BioWare previously confirmed that the game will not feature any returning characters, with co-op multiplayer hinted at. Visually, Andromeda also looks set to impress, and is said to feature ‘ridiculously cool‘ dynamic weather effects.
Though we’re yet to see any Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay videos, it’s rumored that we can also expect:
– Similar combat to Mass Effect 3.
– New alien races
– It will be set in the Helius Cluster of the Andromeda Galaxy
– Deeper control over responses, such as by interuppting chat
– Upgradeable vehicles
– Blueprints that allow you to upgrade alien technology
– Strike team missions and Horde mode
We’re also expecting the ending to be much happier than Mass Effect, 3 which received universal disapproval from its fan base. So much so that Bioware released alternate endings in the form of the Extended Cut DLC.
Bioware has stated that we may still be waiting a while to see the first gamplay footage of its new sci-fi RPG, and is still in the process of seeking voice talent., ahead of its Fall 2016 release.
Want to see how things are shaping up? Mass Effect: Andromeda looks fantastic.
