Everyone’s favorite rocket-powered sports battler Rocket League is now primed to receive a full retail release.
The physical disc-based version of last year’s smash hit was confirmed exclusively on Kinda Funny Games’ primetime show ‘Colin and Greg Live’ by developer Psyonix’s very own Jeremy Dunham and comes as no surprise given the game’s immense impact upon its launch last July.
And while details of the physical release of the game are still scarce, Dunham, the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Psyonix, had this to say:
"We’re going to be announcing very soon that Rocket League’s coming to retail. We’re going to be talking about who our partner is, when [you] can expect to see it, and what comes in that package."
Released initially as PlayStation Plus and PC title before coming to Xbox One this month, Rocket League captivated audiences and critics alike with its manic nature and fun pick-up-and-play mechanics.
Stay tuned for more as we get it.
