2K Games has moved to reassure PlayStation 3 owners that its BioShock downloadable content Challenge Rooms will remain exclusive to the Sony platform release of the critically acclaimed shooter.
Speaking with Videogamer.com, Associate Producer Melissa Miller commented, "Right now we are supporting the PS3 launch. We are really excited to be bringing the BioShock experience to a whole new set of fans. We’ve been concentrating on ways to make this game special. The things that we’ve added, they’re not changing the original experience that the 360 fans and the PC fans got, but are things that compliment nicely that experience."
When pushed on a less ambiguous comment on the status of the DLC, Miller replied: "The answer is no. Right now this is a PS3 exclusive."
Challenge Rooms will be made available on October 24, and compliments a number of additional features for the PS3 release, including an all-new Survivor difficulty setting and Trophy support.
