Hello Games has rolled out the latest No Man’s Sky update for PlayStation 4 gamers, bringing the space exploration title to version 1.04.
While full No Man’s Sky patch notes have yet to be revealed, the game’s creator, Sean Murray, took to Twitter to outline a few details on the 1.04 update. Chiefly, players can expect a range of stability updates, which should hopefully remedy many of the issues players have faced since launch.
No Man’s Sky was released on PS4 and PC earlier this month, and divided critics and gamers alike. Be sure to read our No Man’s Sky review to see what we made of Hello Games’ sprawling space opus.
The game takes place in a procedurally generated open-world galaxy, offering a jaw-dropping 18 quintillion planets to explore. Naturally, this is impossible unless you happen to have around five billion years to spare.
No Man’s Sky combines a variety of gameplay mechanics, and is built around four core principles: combat, exploration, trading, and survival. The game is technically a single-player affair despite featuring online elements, such as the Atlas system.
