Resident Evil 7: biohazard will be putting in an appearance at the Tokyo Game Show 2016, and players will be able to play the Resident Evil 7 demo, publisher Capcom has announced.
In addition to the upcoming survival horror sequel, Capcom will also be showcasing the likes of Monster Hunter Stories, Monster Hunter Spirits, and Project Palm at the popular Japanese games event.
TGS 2016 takes place September 15-18.
Resident Evil 7 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on January 24, 2017. The game will also be fully playable from start to finish with PlayStation VR.
The survival horror title takes place on the grounds of a plantation mansion in Louisiana, and takes place from a first-person perspective—a first for a mainline entry in the franchise. Players will also control a new protagonist, who Capcom says is a far cry from the train operatives from previous games.
Capcom released a new Resident Evil 7 trailer for Gamescom 2016 earlier this week, offering a glimpse at one of the game’s playable flashback scenes.
