Tekken 7 boss Katsuhiro Harada has confirmed that the upcoming fighting game sequel will not feature cross-platform scrapping between PS4, PC, and Xbox One players.
Speaking on Twitter, Harada-san was quick to note that it wasn’t an issue with Bandai Namco Games. “It’s NOT my heart & our issue. It’s 1st Party issue & platform security policy issue. Remember, SFV & KI is Exclusive PS4 or X1,” he said.

Tekken 7 is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on June 2, 2017. The game focuses on the conclusion of the long-running Mishima family feud, and also features a guest appearance by Street Fighter’s Akuma plus a host of new combatants. In terms of gameplay mechanics, Namco has mixed things up with the addition of Rage Arts and Power Crush, which can turn the tide of battle and injects a little more strategy into the bread-and-butter fisticuffs.
