Dark Alliance developer Tuque Games has been renamed Invoke Studios within the Wizards Of The Coast family, and is currently working on a Dungeons & Dragons AAA title being made in Unreal Engine 5.
The news was announced in a press release from Wizards Of The Coast, which also simultaneously launched Invoke’s website, which you can check out here.
In regards to what the studio is working on, the release states,
“The studio is currently working on a AAA game derived from the Dungeons & Dragons universe and developed on the Unreal 5 engine.
Invoke is one of the major Montreal studios concentrating on AAA fantasy games and the only one in Canada to do so with Wizards of The Coast.”
That doesn’t tell us much about the game, though it’ll be interesting to see what ‘AAA’ results in meaning in this case.
Invoke’s team is joined by former director of Watch Dogs at Ubisoft, Dominic Guay, and is based in Montreal, one of the biggest hubs in the world for game development talent.
It’ll be interesting to see what Invoke is working on, whenever its ready to show it, of course.
