A Plague Tale Requiem Runs At 30 FPS On PS5, But Hits 40 FPS With 120hz Enabled

YouTube account ElAnalistaDeBits has put A Plague Tale: Requiem through its paces on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, revealing the game always clocks in at 30 FPS unless you have the 120hz mode enabled, in which case it hits 40 FPS.

Developer Asobo Studio recently admitted that A Plague Tale: Requiem wasn’t even on the cards until the company witnessed the overwhelmingly positive reaction to A Plague Tale: Innocence. It’s also said that the game will last around 15-18 hours with no filler content.

Thanks to the power of PS5, the team has been able to really push the technical boundaries, with over 300,000 rats now able to be rendered on screen at any one time.
