Guard Crush and DotEmu have released a major new patch for Absolum that introduces a range of bug fixes and new additions, including the the likes of a Quick Restart option, allowing you to jump back into the fight without delay. Other key features include the fact companions will now respawn at the player’s location after falling into a pit, while the campfire craft ability has also been enhanced. Beyond that, there’s an array of bug fixes that have been implemented to ensure for a smoother and more reliable gameplay experience overall. You can read full details in the latest Absolum patch notes below.
Changes
- The Corrupted Biomes modifier is now available by default when you unlock Mystic Ordeals – meaning you don’t have to unlock Custom ordeals to disable them. The Boss Rush modifier also unlocks right away.
- You can now take TWO players into Raken’s Tutorial – play nicely with each other, now…
- The Campfire Craft ability has been upgraded – because the powerful Ritual upgrading has become the Meta, we’re making sure all options give you a great boost
- Quick Restart now helps you get back into the fight quickly – in the run information screen, Rebels can now jump straight back to the Hub or quickly restart a new run with the same parameters (you’ll need to have the crystals to re-purchase Trinkets or Inspirations, and it will let you know what that cost is)
- Companion Re-Spawning – when they fall into a pit, companions will now respawn like the player does, reappearing at the player’s location to fight the good fight once again!
- Corrupted Biomes are visible on the map from the start – allowing you to plan accordingly from the very beginning of your journey
- Additional dash canceling – available now for Galandra’s last hit of Sword Flurry, Karl’s ground Skill, Throw mastery and Ironhead Rush, Brome’s Mana Burst, and Cider’s ground skill when held
