Activision proclaimed to Eurogamer that the next Call of Duty game must have the Elite program fully integrated.
Activision’s Nolan Heller said, "All we’re really saying about it at this point is integration is the word of the day," he said. "It needs to be in the game. It needs to be tightly wrapped with game features. And that’s our focal point."
He goes on to say that, in the midst of this Elite integration, all of the multiplayer components will have all of Elite’s featurettes fully available to see and use functionally in-game. Heller adds, "You’ll still have access to everything you do here, it’s just we’ll be doing a number of new things as well."
It seems to be a goal for Activision to have the Call of Duty Elite program an astounding success, even though its launch has been a bit of a hit-or-miss with fans. What do you guys think of the feature, and what would make Elite a better component in Call of Duty?
