Activision Teases A New Crash Bandicoot Game Announcement Coming At The Game Awards

It’s still only October, but that hasn’t stopped publishers like Activision from beginning to tease announcements for December’s Game Awards.

This time, it seems like Activision has just teased an announcement for a brand new Crash Bandicoot game at The Game Awards, in a similar fashion to previous Crash-related teases.

It’s gotten into the habit of sending mysterious and sometimes blunt packages to content creators as a way to signal what’s to come.

For this tease it’s YouTuber Canadian Guy Eh who received a package from Activision, a pizza box that reveals Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is coming to Steam on October 18, 2022.

Below that announcement however, read a cheeky tease, saying “Hungry for more? Try our new Wumpa pizza for $12.08!”

You can check out the video, with the pizza box opened and the teases showcased here.

Rumours of a new Wumpa League game have been floating around for some time now, and though that is what it seems to be teased here, it could always just be some kind of new Crash game or announcement.

The 12.08 price tag for the pizza is a not-so-subtle nod to the date of The Game Awards, being December 8, 2022.

So whatever this announcement is, we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
