Alan Wake 2 has received an update for October 30, 2023, which is now live on all platforms, along with its full patch notes available.
Remedy’s long-awaited sequel has, on all accounts delivered on the fan excitement and hype that sustained across 13 years, even though for most of that time, fans weren’t even exactly sure that the sequel would ever happen.
The launch has been great for Remedy, this is the studio’s highest scoring Metacritic game, and after Control only got better recognition post-release, it’s exciting to see the studio performing so well with what could be argued was its most significant upcoming project.
This sets the stage wonderfully for the upcoming Control 2, and a spin-off Control title we still don’t know much about. Before all that though, something that nowadays always comes along with a new title, is updates.
