Remedy Offers Update On New Control Games, Codename Condor & Codename Heron

The new Control games currently in the pipeline at Remedy have been given a brief update during the company’s latest financial briefing.

The two games, codename Condor and Codename Heron, are in the early stages of production and will likely be dropping after Alan Wake 2, which Remedy said in the earnings call is still on track for a 2023 launch.

First up, Codename Condor, which is billed as a Control spinoff game, is in the “proof-of-concept” stage.

We are giving the team time to work on a multitude of important game design elements and finalize the key pillars before moving the project to the next development phase.

Meanwhile, Codename Heron, which Remedy describes as a “bigger-budget” Control project, is in the concept stage.

Based on the well-progressing early development, the team size has been gradually increased,” Remedy said, adding that this is a “bigger-budget.
