Alan Wake Remastered is officially heading to PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in fall 2021, developer Remedy has announced.
The remastered version of the 2010 horror classic will feature 4K resolution, The Writer and the Signal DLC, and commentary from the game’s Creative Director, Sam Lake. The announcement shouldn’t come as a surprise, seeing as how the project was leaked a couple of times only recently.

Alan Wake Remastered also gives us hope that Alan Wake 2 may finally be happening, and indeed that is apparently the case, as Remedy and Epic Games’ new project is supposedly the long-awaited follow-up.
Originally released for the Xbox 360 and later PC, Alan Wake sees players controlling the eponymous writer as he searches for his wife in the idyllic town of Bright Falls, Washington, while battling against shadowy creatures known as The Taken.
