Amazon’s live-action God of War series has cast four more characters in the form of Modi, Magni, Gna, and Thrud.
First up, Louis Cunningham will take on the role of Modi, one of the sons of Thor, with his brother, Magni, to be placed by Ben Chapple. Both characters appeared in 2018’s God of War and were battled by Kratos during the events of the game. Meanwhile, Evelyn Miller will portray Gna (Odin’s Valkyrie commander), while Thrud (the youngest child of Sif and Thor) will be played by Island Austin.
Last week it was revealed that Jurassic World Rebirth’s Ed Skrein had been cast in the role of Baldur, and follows on from numerous castings such has Ryan Hurst (Kratos), Max Parker (Heimdall), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (Thor), and Mandy Patinkin (Odin). Furthermore, Alastair Duncan, who portrayed Mimir in the last couple of God of War games, will return to reprise his role in the Amazon series.
The God of War live-action series is set to begin production this month, and Amazon has already released the first promotional image showcasing Kratos and Atreus striking a pose from the 2018’s God of War.
