Amazon’s God of War series has added Max Parker to the cast, who is set to portray Heimdall, a character that appeared in God of War Ragnarok.
Parker has appeared in numerous TV shows including Vampire Academy, Emmerdale, and Blood, Sex & Royalty, and most recently appeared in Boots, the military drama from Netflix. Here’s the official blurb on the character of Heimdall:
The Watchman of Asgard, and one of the sons of Odin. Heimdall is a god in his own right with the special ability to anticipate what’s about to happen at any moment. Handsome and dynamic, he feels unappreciated by his father and underestimated by the rest of the family, and as a result Heimdall is constantly looking for ways to improve his position in the hierarchy and increase his stature and power.
God of War is entering pre-production in Vancouver, Canada, and will feature Ryan Hurst in the role of Kratos, a casting that was recently praised by Christopher Judge, who played the character in God of War and God of War Ragnarok.
