Anthem introduces its factions to you early on; however, it isn’t clear how to actually earn loyalty with them. Below we have a full guide on every way to earn loyalty with all three factions: The Freelancers, The Sentinels, and The Archanists.
The Freelancers: How To Get Loyalty
The Freelancers are the first faction you are introduced to. Yarrow is the NPC to talk to for new missions and contracts. You can gain loyalty with The Freelancers in the following ways:
- Discover new locations across Bastion.
- Complete missions from Yarrow.
- Complete Freelancer Contracts from the contract board next to Yarrow.
- Have conversations with various characters around Fort Tarsis.
- Complete world events in freeplay.
Gaining loyalty with The Freelancers will upgrade Fort Tarsis adding visual changes and new conversations.
The Sentinels: How To Get Loyalty
The Sentinels are introduced to you via Tassyn. Later in the story Sentinel Brin will show herself and become the main NPC for this faction. You can gain loyalty with The Sentinels in the following ways:
- Harvest materials in the world during Expeditions.
- Complete missions from Tassyn
- Complete missions from Sentinel Brin
- Complete Sentinel Contracts from the contract board next to Sentinel Brin.
- Have conversations with various characters around Fort Tarsis
- Complete world events in freeplay
Increasing your loyalty with The Sentinels will grant you increased vault space in Fort Tarsis, allowing you to hold more weapons and gear.
The Archanists: How To Get Loyalty
The Archanists are the final faction you are introduced to. The NPC Matthias will become available after saving him in a story mission. You can gain loyalty with The Archanists in the following ways:
- Open treasure chests in the world during Expeditions.
- Complete missions from Matthias.
- Complete Sentinel Contracts from the contract board next to Matthias.
- Have conversations with various characters around Fort Tarsis
- Complete world events in freeplay
Finally, increasing your loyalty with The Archanists will unlock a new store in Fort Tarsis allowing you to buy crafting materials and Ember.
There are three stages of loyalty with each faction. So, be sure to do as many of these things as possible, in order to rank them up the quickest. We are going to have a bunch of Anthem coverage over the next week as the game goes live on PlayStation 4. So, stay tuned.
