Ubisoft has released fresh footage of its upcoming pirate-themed action-adventure sequel, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
Seen below, the gameplay video sees protagonist Edward Kenway visiting numerous locations, including a local tavern, underwater shipwreck and smuggler’s cave.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is due for release on PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360 and Wii U on October 29 in the U.S. and November 1 in Europe.
The PlayStation 4 version will be a launch title for Sony’s next-generation console on November 15 and November 29 in North America and Europe, respectively. The Xbox One edition hits stores on November 22.
Set in the Golden Age of Piracy during the early 1700s, Black Flag sees gamers plundering their way across the Caribbean on board the Jackdaw. Eventually, Kenway finds himself caught up in the ancient war between the assassins and the Templars, and rubs shoulders with the likes of Blackbeard among other iconic pirates. The game boasts the largest open world in Assassin’s Creed history packed with numerous side quests and loot to plunder.
