Some good news Assassin’s Creed fans – Ubisoft has now confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has gone gold.
This means that the game is now fully complete and can start the arduous journey (odyssey?) towards ending up on physical and digital retail shelves.
The news comes hot on the heels of Ubisoft announcing an extensive post-release content roadmap for the game which includes, among many other things, fully remastered versions of Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed Liberation.
The news that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has gone gold came from the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account as you can see below.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey from Ubisoft is set to release for PS4, PC and Xbox One on October 5, 2018. Players who buy the Gold, Collectors and Ultimate editions of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be granted access to the game three days early on October 2, 2018.
