Batman: Arkham Knight has debuted at no.1 on the U.K. All Format Chart becoming the region’s fastest-selling video game of 2015 thus far.
In addition, the Dark Knight’s latest outing has become the franchise’s best week one seller, outpacing the performance of 2011’s Batman: Arkham City.
In terms of platform sales, the critically acclaimed superhero sequel moved an impressive 67 percent of all copies on PlayStation 4, with Xbox One taking up 33 percent of sales.
The game’s success pushes fellow Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment stablemate, LEGO Jurassic World, down to number two.
