Battlefield 2042 Update 1.000.018 Addresses PS5 Stability Issues

DICE has rolled out the Battlefield 2042 update 1.000.018 patch notes for you to digest, which is specifically for the PS5 version of the first-person shooter. It’s nothing too excited, merely adding some stability fixes.

  • We have resolved a stability issue that can occur for players on PlayStation 5 who are running the game in either Korean, or Traditional Chinese.

Battlefield 2042 was released for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in November 2021. The game recently received a major update in the form of Battlefield 2042 patch 1.2, which addresses a number of areas including improving controller aim assist.

Despite claims that Battlefield 2042 is experiencing issues regarding future support – one source suggested the game is in ‘abandon ship mode’ – DICE has said that it no has no ‘end date‘ for in regards to stopping support for the shooter.
