The PSVR 2 version of Beat Saber is now available to grab on the PlayStation Store, and is featured as a Cross-Buy purchase that includes the original PSVR version of the game. Furthermore, if you already own the original, you can download a digital PSVR 2 edition of the game for free.
Sony’s Jim Ryan had already confirmed that Beat Saber was in development for the PSVR 2 during his presentation at CES 2023.
Beat Saber was originally released for PSVR in November 2018 and has received a steady stream of post-launch content ever since, with numerous musics released by developer Beat Games. Here’s the official blurb for more details:
Dive into an immersive rhythm experience you have never seen before! Enjoy precisely handcrafted levels and exclusively created electronic dance music, all embedded in an appealing futuristic world. Swing your sabers, match the color and the right direction to slash the cubes, and keep up with the adrenaline-pumping music… This game is gonna make you dance!
