GameStat, an active real-time tracker of all things which are added to the PlayStation Store on a day-by-day basis via a unique API has revealed that not only will a Final Fantasy VII Remake demo be releasing on the PlayStation Store, but so will the full version of Patapon 2 Remastered.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake demo will release on the PlayStation Stores in the America, Asia, Europe, Japan territories, while the Patapon 2 Remastered full game will be made available on the American, Asian and European PlayStation Store.

While a demo for Final Fantasy VII Remake from developer/publisher Square-Enix has not yet been confirmed, the March 3, 2020 release of the game on PS4 is drawing closer and a free demo would be an ideal way to sway undecided folks as to the merits of the game,
Relatedly, we rather enjoyed our time with the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo at this year’s Eurogamer Expo – so we wonder if this demo is the same one set in the Midgar Mako Reactor or one that shows us a completely different part of the game.
As to the fate of Patapon 2 Remastered, the game was announced way back in December 2017 for a PS4 release, but soon sunk without trace and nothing was heard regarding the game. However, these sorts of shadowdrops are Sony’s modus operandi so we perhaps shouldn’t be too surprised.
We would expect the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo and Patapon 2 Remastered to arrive on the previously mentioned PlayStation Stores imminently.
