Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Box Art Seemingly Leaks Along With “The Truth Lies” Teaser Being Discovered

This year’s annual entry into the Call Of Duty franchise has long been rumoured to be Black Ops 6, bringing the franchise to the Gulf War and keeping with the pattern of flipping back and forth from Modern Warfare to Black Ops.

Activision’s new parent company Xbox and Microsoft are holding a showcase as part of next month’s tirade of announcements that will be Summer Games Fest, and similarly as Microsoft previously had a showcase and then featured Starfield, the rumour is following the showcase, a special Call Of Duty feature will start.

Now the first major teaser for this year’s coming Call Of Duty game has surfaced in the form of a website, thetruthlies.com. Alongside this teaser, the game’s box art has seemingly leaked from known leaker, Billbill_kun. Billbill_kun claims the box art is legit, and has blurred it to avoid getting into any real hot water with Activision.

On the website you can watch two clips that appear to be a group of people putting up posters in one and in another they are covering the eyes of the presidents featured on Mount Rushmore with their message, “The Truth Lies.”

You can also interact with the CRT tv shown on the website, and while the six different channels have different static patterns, it seems like only the first two include the clips to watch.

It’ll be interesting to see if the other six channels are eventually populated with a clip, an added little teaser for the game’s story that potentially leads up to the full reveal.

We’ll just have to wait and see, though with Activision already kicking off this teaser campaign, and the Xbox showcase not arriving until June 9, 2024, it feels likely that the full reveal for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 will happen sometime this week or next, in the lead up to the showcase which will be a deeper dive into the game.
