Publisher Activision launched Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on October 25.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a complete revamp of the popular sub-series, which launched to great success back in 2007 for PS3 and Xbox 360. The game features three main attractions: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Spec Ops, the latter of which includes cooperative play.

Unlike previous instalments in the multi-million selling franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare does not feature the traditional Season Pass model, instead offering free post-launch updates.

In addition, Infinity Ward is also featuring cross-platform play for the first time in the series. There’s no Zombies mode this time around, however.

Elsewhere, we’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Royale mode, which is reportedly due out in early 2020. The previous game in the series, Black Ops 4, was the first entry in the series to include this mode.
