Sledgehammer Games‘ Call of Duty: Vanguard has performed best on PlayStation formats in the UK boxed charts, shifting 41% and 29% of all copies on PS5 and PS4, respectively. The game debuted at number one, as is typical for a new Call of Duty game.
As for Xbox formats, Xbox One accounted for 19% of all copies sold, while Xbox Series X/S took up just 11%. It’s interesting to see, as years ago Call of Duty was most associated with Xbox due to Microsoft and Activision’s marketing deal over a decade ago.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is the latest entry in the multi-million selling franchise, and takes players back to World War II for the first time since Call of Duty: WWII back in 2017.
