A good couple of years since it was last shown, Capcom’s eye-opening sci-fi epic Pragmata made something of an overdue reappearance at this year’s State of Play.
For those that missed it, the synopsis for Pragmata is as below:
“Pragmata is about two robots who live on a failed attempt to colonize the moon, which was abandoned after robots & AI took over the moon & humans just disabled their ability to reach them on Earth rather than deal fully with the problem, and we play as two robots who are starting to become strikingly human through the robots evolving who desire to go to Earth.”
Seemingly captured on PS5 Pro, this latest footage actually showed off some proper gameplay, if only for a bit, showcasing a fairly rapid third-person shooter that would seem to simultaneously evoke the likes of Vanquish and Dead Space.

Pragmata is expected to release on PS5 sometime in 2026.
