Sandfall Interactive has patched Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 to squash a few outstanding bugs, including various soft locks that have plagued the game since its launch last week. Among the issues ironed out include a soft lock caused when the Grown Bourgeon is stunned after consuming an Expedition Member, and removing a rare crash on the world map. You can read the full Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 update 1.2.2 patch notes below.
Clair Obsur: Expedition 33 was released for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on April 25, 2025, and sold one million copies in three days. This week, the game’s lead writer was asked on Instagram if DLC is possible, and she refused to rule it out while making it clear nothing has been set in stone. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 takes place in a world inspired by Belle Époque France, and sees players embarking on a quest to destroy the Paintress, who is slowly erasing people by painting her monolith using a cursed number. She’s now at ’33,’ thus kicking off Expedition 33.
