A surprise deluge of new merchandise suggests that a Crash Bandicoot PlayStation 5 title might be announced during Sony’s PS5 games reveal livestream later today.
Of course, while such things are far from guaranteed, we wouldn’t be entirely surprised if everyone’s favourite PlayStatin marsupial made his way back into the spotlight – not least because rumors have been swirling around the existence of a new Crash Bandicoot game for sometime now.
Then there is the timing of the merchandise leaks. With Sony’s PlayStation 5 games showcase set to take place later today, the sudden appearance of new merchandise does seem a little suspect to say the least.
In terms of the merchandise itself, which largely consists of mugs, caps, socks and so on, you can catch a look at it all below courtesy of Wario64.
The last Crash Bandicoot game which released on PlayStation 4 was the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy which released back in June 2017 – almost exactly three years ago.
