New Crash Bandicoot Game Coming, Could Be PS5 Timed-Exclusive – Rumor

Activision is poised to announce a new Crash Bandicoot game, and what’s more, it may come to the PS5 before anything else.

New Crash Bandicoot Game Due For PS5

According to Twitter user Guru (translated by ResetEra), the new Crash Bandicoot game has been in development for three years, so Activision will soon be ramping up its marketing plans for the title.

If the game is indeed a timed-exclusive to the PS5, then this mirrors what Activision did for the release of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, which arrived for the PS4 one year before Nintendo Switch and Xbox One versions.

This is hardly the first we’ve heard about a new Crash Bandicoot game being in the pipeline. Two years ago, it was reported that the franchise was coming back with a five-year plan, which included a new game.

Furthermore, a new Sony ad released late last year had seemingly teased a new Crash Bandicoot game was in the works, but so far nothing has been confirmed.
