Eagle-eyed watchers of the Cyberpunk 2077 launch trailer have spotted a hidden message at the very end, with a note from CD Projekt Red about the future DLC plans, which are set to begin in early 2021.
First spotted by PCGamer, the message can be found during the title card at the end of the trailer and lasts for just one frame, reading as follows:
“Our planned expansions will take you even deeper into the world of Cyberpunk 207, offering substantial, story-driven content that’ll give you tough choices to make through impactful narratives that you won’t soon forget,” the message says.
“But before we get there, we’ll first be kicking off our free DLC program in early 2021. Just like with The Witcher 3, expect an assortment of free DLC packs to begin hitting Night City, dropping a bunch of cool stuff that’ll inject even more life into the world of the dark future.”
This is great news and confirms plans which were previously detailed by the developer. Meanwhile, with Cyberpunk 2077 hitting people’s PS5, users have found that the game won’t let you choose between Performance or Quality modes, like on Xbox Series X.
Cyberpunk 2077 releases for PS4 on December 10, 2020, and for PS5 in 2021.
