Kojima Productions has lifted the wraps off an extended look at Death Stranding: Director’s Cut for PS5.
The new Death Stranding Director’s Cut gameplay looks at some additional items for helping you deliver items, while a firing range has been set up to help you improve your combat skills. Players can also unlock new missions and weapons as they progress through this spruced-up version of the Norman Reedus-starring adventurer.
Death Stranding: Director’s Cut is scheduled for release on September 24, 2021 for PS5, although creator Hideo Kojima has said that he’s doesn’t think the Director’s Cut moniker is necessarily all that accurate.
This re-release of the Kojima Productions title includes a bunch of enhancements over the original PS4 version. Chief among these include support for 60 FPS and 4K resolution, additional missions, improved combat, and much more.
Death Stranding was originally released for the PS4 in November 2019, and later arrived for the PC. The game has sold over five million copies worldwide as of March 2021.
