As promised, Sony Interactive Entertainment has debuted an extended look at Arkane Lyon’s highly anticipated Deathloop during its latest State of Play event this evening. Our immediate thoughts? It’s brutal, gory, and has a very potty mouth.
To be fair, this is exactly what we expected after checking previous videos and impressions of Deathloop in action, so it definitely doesn’t disappoint. During the gameplay, we’re treated to some brilliant kills, a bit of exploration, and tons of banter for good measure.
During the playthrough, we’re also given a warning about the appearance of Juliana, who as you may remember will be controlled by the AI or a human player to hunt you down protagonist Colt.
If you’ve still been wondering how Deathloop plays and what all the fuss is about, then this will definitely do the trick. Check it out in all its glory below.
