Destiny 2 confirms return of Nolan North as teaser trailer debuts

Voice actor Nolan North has confirmed that he will be reprising his role as Ghost in Bungie’s upcoming Destiny 2 just ahead of the official release of the new Destiny 2 teaser trailer.

Speaking on the latest ETC podcast, North, who is perhaps best known for his role as cheeky treasure hunter, Nathan Drake, revealed that he’ll once again be giving Guardians a helping hand for the latest entry in Bungie’s shared-world shooter franchise.

Eyes up, Guardian,” replied North, when quizzed if he is back in Destiny 2. “Yeah. I don’t know if I’m supposed to say that, but you know what? I just did. So, confirmed.”

This probably won’t come as much of a surprise to Destiny fans, seeing as how North has assumed the role of Ghost since September 2015’s The Taken King expansion, taking over from original voice actor Peter Dinklage. Not that this stopped Dinklebot from making a cameo appearance in Destiny Age of  Triumph, however.

Destiny 2 is currently in development for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. There was a massive Destiny 2 leak of info earlier today, confirming details on the story, Collector’s Edition, and more. While publisher Activision has yet to announce an official Destiny 2 release date, it has been reported the game will be released on September 8, 2017. It has been confirmed, however, that the game will support PS4-exclusive content

Stay tuned for the Destiny 2 teaser trailer later today.
