The Destiny 2 countdown clock is ticking down to the release date of Bungie’s shooter.

The Destiny 2 preload for PS4 should be available from August 31, allowing you to download the client in anticipation of release on September 6, 2017.

Recently, we were invited to an event and enjoyed some Destiny 2 gameplay from within the European Dead Zone. Check it out to get a feel of what’s to come shortly.

Following the beta, Bungie are planning plenty of changes including faster supers and tweaks to the PvE and PvP gameplay.

We’ve also had heads-up about the Destiny 2 DLC plans, with suggestions that the Vex may play a significant role in a future update, though the main story at launch will focus on the Cabal.

If you’re excited to explore the new Destiny 2 hub, partake in the new Strikes and Nightfall activities, and get down and dirty in the Crucible on a host of new maps, it’s not long now.

Here’s your Destiny 2 countdown clock:

(function(d, s, id) { var js, pjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//www.tickcounter.com/static/js/loader.js”; pjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, pjs); }(document, “script”, “tickcounter-sdk”));

The Destiny 2 release date is set for September 7, 2017 on PS4 and Xbox One. The PC Windows version will launch on October 24, 2017.
