Destiny 2 track ghost will be pre-order bonus
Destiny 2 will feature yet another pre-order bonus item up for grabs, this time in the form of the GAME-exclusive Kill-tracker Ghost.
This new item does exactly what it says on the tin; it tracks the number of kills you rake in, both for the Destiny 2 multiplayer experience and the main campaign. You simply bring up a menu and can view your kills on-screen.
In addition to the swanky new Ghost, Bungie has also revealed that a new Salute emote will be available, although again this is available only at select retailers. However, it’s worth pointing out that digital pre-orders for Destiny 2 via the PlayStation Store, Xbox LIVE Marketplace, and Battle.net include not only the new emote, but also the Kill-track Ghost and Coldheart rifle.
As previously reported, the Coldheart rifle will be a timed pre-order exclusive, and will be made available on general release from December 5. Check out the Destiny 2 Kill-track Ghost in action below.
Destiny 2 is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2017 and on PC on October 24. This will be the first time that the series has been available on home computers, with the original game releasing on last and current-generation systems. Destiny 2 takes place after the Tower has been devastated by a Cabal-lead unit known as the Red Legion, which sees Guardians losing all their hard-earned loot and gear, meaning it’s a fresh start for players in terms of character progression.
The Destiny 2 beta recently wrapped for consoles, and despite some criticisms being levelled at the PvE experience as far as weapons balancing is concerned, Bungie has assured players that these niggles have been remedied in the final game.
Bungie also offered beta participants a sneak peak at the new Destiny 2 hub, dubbed The Farm, which features its own footie pitch.
