With Sony revealing the PS5 reveal event date in a new video, they may have just teased a PS5 DualSense Controller in black.
The video, which uses some incredibly dark lighting, seems to suggest that the new controller will indeed be available in black, as well as the previously revealed white version.
The video seems pretty convincing that a black DualSense PS5 as we get a close-up look at the controller. However, at around 2-3 seconds we see the controller get lighter which might also suggest that we are just looking at the regular DualSense in very dark lighting.
Either way, Sony hasn’t officially confirmed the news right now. So, we will just have to wait till next week’s PS5 revealed event to find out?

An extended interview from GamesIndustry.biz reveals a lot more about the PS5, including that the console will get a global launch and the reveal event will feature games that can only be enjoyed on the PS5. We also learned that Sony didn’t actually tell developers the PS5 Reveal event’s date due to fear of leaks.
PS5 is set to be released this Holiday. The PS5 reveal event takes place on June 4.
