According to a report on Insider-Gaming, Disney is keen on seeing a new Star Wars title released ever six months, split between one major game and a smaller-scale project every fiscal year.
That’s obviously a great undertaking, although it’s worth pointing out that there are currently no fewer than eight Star Wars video games in development.
They are: Skydance Media’s project with Amy Hennig, Respawn Entertainment’s FPS, Quantic Dream’s Star Wars: Eclipse, the Knights Of The Old Republic Remake at Saber Interactive, Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Star Wars: Hunters at Zynga and Respawn’s untitled strategy title.
Right now not all all of the above games have a release date, so it’ll be a while before we see them on store shelves. Chances are that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be among the first games out the door.
