Square Enix has announced that Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will not be receiving any further updates after the next one, and that the company has no current plans to release a follow-up.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Support Ending

Despite this, the company confirmed that the game will still be playable online, so you’ll still be able to take part in those epic crossover battles that sees the likes of Cloud going up against Squall, Noctis, and Warrior of Light.
All the same, there’s no plans for a Dissidia Final Fantasy NT 2, according to director Takeo Kujiraoka.
We don’t want to make false anticipations, so we want to make it clear that right now there are no plans for a [Dissidia Final Fantasy] 2 at all.
Square Enix will launch the final major update for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT on March 5, although the arcade edition will receive it later this week. Ardyn looks set to be the last fighter to be added to the fighting game, as well as the usual batch of balancing updates and summons.
Here’s what producer Ichiro Hazama had to say:
The online service will still continue running so it won’t be a case where you cannot play the game anymore.
