Capcom has announced that it will host a Dragon’s Dogma II Showcase 2023 on November 28, which will last approximately 15 minutes and offer a bunch of new info and gameplay on the highly anticipated sequel.
The showcase will be presented by Hideaki Itsuno (director) and Yoshiaki Hirabayashi (producer), and hopefully we’ll also get a release date, although that’s just us being optimistic.
Dragon’s Dogma II is currently in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, and the game was recently rated in Saudi Arabia, which may indicate that a release date (or at least an announcement) isn’t too far away. We recently went hands-on with Dragon’s Dogma II, so be sure to get our initial thoughts on the sequel here.
Back in September, the game’s developer revealed that the team took inspiration from Grand Theft Auto V when creating Dragon’s Dogma II, and later confirmed that there will be no load times when players are exploring its open-world.
