Kadokawa has provided a brief update on the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, confirming developer FromSoftware is still hard at work on the content but doesn’t have a release date for it just yet.
The publisher issued the update during an FAQ section of its latest financial report, although sadly it didn’t have much to say in regards to when we can expect the DLC.
We are currently working hard on the development of DLC for Elden Ring, but we have not announced a release date at this time. Various measures are currently in progress for Elden Ring, including the development of major DLC, to maximise [lifetime value].

Back in December last year, FromSoftware revealed that development on Shadow of the Erdtree is ‘going well,’ but admitted it would be some time before it is released.
