Texas-based Escalation Studios, who have previously worked on Rage, Doom and Team Fortress 2, have been rebranded to Bethesda Game Studios Dallas following its acquisition by ZeniMax Media earlier this year.
The news comes from Quakecon 2018, where Bethesda revealed the first gameplay video for DOOM: Eternal. An extended trailer for Rage 2 was also revealed.
Escalation Studios are the team behind the SnapMap tools for the 2016 DOOM reboot. However, it’s now been confirmed that SnapMap won’t be returning for DOOM: Eternal.
Bethesda Game Studios Dallas are currently working on aspects of Starfield, Elder Scrolls:Blades and Fallout 76. Following the announcement, the official Bethesda account tweeted:

Bethesda now has studios located in Washington DC, Montreal, Austin, as well as Dallas.
