Bethesda has announced a release date for Fallout 4’s upcoming Automatron DLC, confirming gamers will be able to download the new content on March 22 for $9.99 on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
Automatron sees a horde of malevolent robots assaulting the Commonwealth, having been unleashed by a shady chap known only as Mechanist. As expected, players can look forward to a wealth of new content, such as extra weapons, armor and abilities, as they battle against the robots and harvest their parts to cobble together custom robot companions.
Fallout 4 will be receiving a slew of DLC throughout the year, with Automatron just the start of Bethesda’s post-launch plans for the post-apocalyptic RPG. Wasteland Workshop and Far Harbor will follow in April and May, respectively, with more content in development for launch later down the line.
