The Far Cry 5 preload, which allows players to download Ubisoft's action-adventure ahead of release, is now live on PC and Xbox One.
Xbox One and PC players who preloaded Far Cry 5 have been able to download the game client, but not the play the game, since March 23. PS4 players were able to download Far Cry 5 since midnight on March 25. The game size is approximately 34.03GB.

PS4 players can also look forward to HDR support, which was confirmed today, in addition to 4K support on PS4 Pro. There's also a PS4 Pro render mode that lets you choose between better graphics or resolution.
The recent supersampling mode that was added in PS4 update 5.50 will also allow players to enjoy better visuals without a 4K TV.

Far Cry 5 is a first-person open-world shooter set in Hope County, Montana. A religious cult leader by the name Joseph Seed believes he needs to protect the people and lead them to salvation.
As the sheriff's deputy, you are sent to arrest Seed and bring an end to the madness. Expect plenty of combat, exploration and tons of activities outside of the main campaign.
