Final Fantasy 7 Remake PS5 Owners Unable To Grab Intergrade Via PS Plus

Existing owners of Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PS5 have discovered they are unable to claim the Intergrade bundle on PS Plus Extra.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade was released last year on Sony’s new home console, and includes the base version of the remake as well as the new Intermission chapter, which sees players controlling Yuffie. However, if you own a copy of the remake on PS5, the PS Store won’t allow you to snap up the Intergrade bundle.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is now available to members of PS Plus Extra, but existing owners of FF7 Remake on PS5 won’t be able to claim it and play the Intermission DLC as part of their membership.

You can’t buy this product for the following reasons. You already own the following products, which conflict with the product you’re trying to buy: Final Fantasy VII Remake.

These issues have existing before PS Plus Extra, as those who upgraded to the PS5 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake from the PS4 release were not able to purchase Intergrade. Until Sony sorts something out, the only way to grab Intermission is to pay the £15.99 asking price.

Square Enix recently announced the second chapter in the remake project, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, is currently in development for PS5 and will launch in Winter 2023.
