The ESRB just confirmed what many PlayStation gamers have been hoping to hear for years: Final Fantasy VII is coming to the PlayStation Network — in English.
The ESRB has rated Square’s classic RPG for PlayStation 3 and PSP, indicating that it will arrive on the U.S. PlayStation Network within the next few weeks. It has not yet been confirmed for the U.K. and other European territories, but we doubt that Square Enix would simply ignore that massive market.
Final Fantasy VII arrived on the Japanese PlayStation Network in April.
No word has arrived on pricing for the American PSone Classic re-release, but we expect it be be anywhere between $10 and $15 USD. As soon as the game hits the PlayStation Store, we’ll let you know.
